Detective's Log:

Maybe you need someone like me.  It can happen to anyone. It's happened to me. You live in a place until you can't anymore. Your feet get itchy and you've got to move.  However it happens, I'm your man.  I may look like just another mild mannered Real Estate Agent, but I'm more, much more, and we're not just talking hat size and waistline here.

Monologue

Chances are good when you meet me you'll think you've met me before, somewhere.  I tend to have that effect on people: familiar, relaxing --not without cause.

For one thing I've lived and worked around here forever.  Sure, I've moved out now and again for a time, but I came back.  It's where I belong.

All my professional experience has been about solving problems and helping people.  For many years it was with various technical tools I helped put to use; for the last dozen it's been with their real estate.

Over the years it's worked its way into my features: I'm someone good to know, good to ask questions or just to talk to.  I listen when you're talking and don't try to put words in your mouth.  I get to the heart of things and bring you along.

I won't apologize for the truth even if it's not what you wanted to hear, and I'll watch closely to see that no important bits manage to slip by unnoticed.  We'll get all the pieces gathered up on time.  I'll bring a case of champagne or another treat of your choice to the housewarming!

The way I feel best is knowing that someone's glad we've met. . .and they want everyone they know to meet me.  This may be another reason I seem familiar. . . .
